The Superboy of Earth-2 arrives and kidnaps the LSH, putting Superman in a state of temporary stasis.

Jerry White's proximity to gang-related activities raises questions in the minds of his friends. Alex Luthor of Earth-2 explains how he was tricked into releasing Kryptonian criminals General Zod, Quex-Ul, and Zaora from the Phantom Zone, allowing them to wreak havoc over Earth-2, and how he sent Supergirl to seek Superman’s aid. Superman meets alternate versions of Oliver Queen, Hal Jordan, and Bruce Wayne.
