“Up Up and Away” Part I.  One year after the Crisis which depleted his super-powers, Clark Kent has gotten used to life without Superman.  Lex Luthor has been cleared of more than 120 criminal charges, but has lost the respect of most of the citizens of Metropols.  A physicist working with kryptonite inadvertently absorbs it into himself and goes on a rampage, only to be stopped by Supergirl.  Luthor threatens Kent and warns him not to run any more stories about “the fall of Luthor.”
